Today a Canada goose flew by at shoulderheight
there was ice but it looked like mud, breaching whales in a bathtub losing
water
skin slowly recongealing under waterwebs.

It was
the leader of a group of four but
the other trio slamdanced into stop
causing a return, the circle at the end of a driveway.

Turning it seemed imperceptibly to swallow
whole the reservoir before it landed
to leave a reprint of its muffler

Four sunk their feet into a seeing;
burning glass
